Terms of Use

Effective October 3, 2026 · Applies to Puddle Jumper for macOS, iPadOS and iOS, published by 7 & Co LLC.

License

Puddle Jumper is licensed to you, not sold. When you download it from the App Store, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA") applies and governs your use of the app. These terms add to the Standard EULA and do not replace it. If they conflict, the Standard EULA controls for matters it covers.

Using the app

Puddle Jumper is an SSH client. It connects to servers you choose, using credentials you provide.

  • You are responsible for the servers you connect to, for having permission to access them, and for what you do on them.
  • You are responsible for your credentials, your devices, and your iCloud and Keychain settings.
  • Do not use the app for anything unlawful, or to access systems you are not authorized to access.

Your data

We do not collect or store your data. See the Privacy Policy.

Third-party software

Puddle Jumper includes open-source software under its own licenses. See Licenses.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. You use it at your own risk. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, 7 & Co LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Support and changes

Help is available on the Support page. We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
